Lake Country Satellite is not your ordinary high speed internet company.  We are here for our customers and take pride in the high quality of services that we provide.  Our services work where others fail.

Another area that we are different, we are upfront and honest about all of our prices and fees.  Nothing to hide in some slick sales pitch with introductory rates and bandwidth that is limited to certain times of the day, like some of our competitors.  On our web site and documents we provide everything is clear so you don’t have any surprises.  Honesty and Integrity are important to us and our success!

We appreciate our customers and realize with out you, we don’t have a pay check.  We want to personally thank you for doing business with us, your LOCAL family owned internet service provider.

Important Account Information

Thank you for choosing us as your LOCAL internet service provider.  We provide our own technical support on the hardware that we installed.  Should you ever need service or just have a question regarding the equipment we installed, call us.   Please note, we do not provide any technical support for viruses or other computer programs, help with smart TV’s or other video products or problems as this is not our technical expertise.  We apologize, but our office is NOT open to the public, please call for any assistance.

(Please take note that all equipment installed remains the property of Lake Country Internet, LLC and must be returned in working order upon cancellation of your service.  There is also a minimum 6-month commitment depending on the plan selected.  If equipment is not returned or is damaged, or the minimum commitment is not met, there will be a charge of $540 for us to cancel the service, or to replace the equipment not returned or damaged.   We want to provide you with the best possible service and keep you as a customer for life, so if you have any problems, please call us right away.  Also please note we do not send paper bills, the billing is automatically charged to the payment source you provided each month.  The billing will occur the same time each month.  

 

The speeds are up to* 50 Mbps down and up to 5 Mbps up and vary depending on your location, technology installed, current traffic on the network, and topography between your radio and our tower.  The data plans are unlimited, but not at the same speed.  Once you reach your plans allotted data of 1 Terabyte, it may slow down to 3 Mbps based on the traffic on the network.  Once you go over your data, you may not be able to stream videos during peak traffic conditions. 

Your data reset and billing will be on the th monthly.

Wi-Fi Key/Wireless Password:    

 (In order for us to maintain a high quality service for our customers, you must use the wireless router that we provide and install.  These routers are managed and monitored so we can detect problems with your service.  We do not provide support on any wireless equipment or devices not installed by us) (Enter this key/password into your device when prompted to logon to your home network.  If it asks you for a pin, click the link that asks you to enter a key instead.  We use a key system and not a pin system for better security.) DO NOT PRESS THE RESET BUTTON ON YOUR ROUTER, doing so may render your wireless router inoperable, and a service charge up to $125 to reprogram may be charged.

 *(Because this is a wireless based service your speeds may vary greatly from time to time depending on atmospheric conditions, interference, and objects such as trees and foliage between your radio and our tower.  We do our best to maintain the highest signal quality which is how we provide a fast and reliable internet service, but at the end of the day, we can’t control the way the frequencies work.  You can run a speed test from any provider all day long and get a different result, because of varying conditions on the internet, radio interference, and the number of other people around the world running a speed test on the same server at the same time.  The speeds are not guaranteed and may be different at your location based on the information above.)

 Modem Reset Procedures:  ALWAYS do this before giving us a call if you are having a problem as this fixes 99% of all problems.

  • Unplug the power cord only from the wall socket or power strip that goes to our outdoor modems power supply; (black or white power supply with 2 Ethernet cables plugged into it, as pictured below). DO NOT UNPLUG ANY OTHER CABLES, JUST THE POWER.

  • On the back of your wireless router either turn off the power switch or unplug this power cord from the wall or power strip also. DO NOT UNPLUG ANY OTHER CABLES, JUST THE POWER.

  • Leave both unplugged for 30 seconds to 1 minute, after which you may plug both power supplies back in. Sometimes it takes 3 to 5 minutes for everything to resync and come back online.  You may have to close any browsers you had open, wait 10 seconds, and then try opening a browser window again.  You should be back online at this point, if not, please give us a call.
